Our Philosophy is simple -
record audio the way it naturally is, in an analog state through our analog mixing console ( Mackie 32x8) or through one of our mic pre's. Instruments tend to blend more naturally and are richer harmonically, and to really capitalize on Mic Pre's dynamic range, the outputs are wired through fiber optic directly into Pro Tools, no patching needed.
SUNFLOWER STUDIOS was designed with versatility in mind. Two live rooms divided by a control room give music groups the advantage of tracking live with no isolation problems.
The studio is completely wired with Mogami wiring, +4 balanced. A Mackie automated 32x8 mixing console, a maxed out Mac G5 with
a modified Pro-tools 002 system with a host of plug ins , including Reason & the Digidesign Toolkit gives you 48 audio tracks for playback.
